In 2019, one of the best immigration programmes for acquiring permanent residency in Canada is the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP). A key element of Canada’s Express Entry visa system is the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). The fast Entry online point-based immigration procedure was launched by IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) in January 2015.

ELIGIBILITY:

If you meet the following criteria, you can apply for this visa:

• (a) Appear on a list of professions that Canada Immigration and Citizenship recognises based on labour market conditions, or
• (b) Have a job offer in the country already arranged or
• Applied for a Ph.D. program in Canada and been accepted.

(2) Obtain a minimum English proficiency score of 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB).

(3) You can utilise Test devaluation of French to score higher (French exam test).

(4) To demonstrate Canadian credentials, submit a Canadian diploma, bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or international certificate for evaluation by a company recognised by Canadian Customs and Citizenship, such as Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

• Level A of expertise (professional jobs).
• Level B of expertise (technical occupations and skilled trades).
• Type O skill of expertise (management occupations)

An Education Credential Assessment (ECA) procedure was implemented by the Canadian government beginning in May 2013, which compares foreign degrees, diplomas, certificates, and other credentials to Canadian credentials to determine whether they are comparable before applying for federal skilled worker visas.

All major applicants who completed their education outside of Canada are required to complete an Educational Credential Assessment prior to submitting the final travel visa application (ECA).

The Canadian government has authorised four entities to conduct educational credential assessments (ECA). The list is as follows:

• Canadian company International Credential Evaluation Service.
• Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
• Canadian Medical Board (professional body).
• Programmes for global education.
